Whew! It is finally the weekend! The first four days of class tired me out. I hope to get some outfit pictures up this coming week. In all honesty, it's been so cold here I haven't really been getting dressed. I just throw on whatever and head out the door. Do you know how hard it is to wake up in the morning after not needing to for the past three months? In mean time, lets do a little giveaway to "celebration" the school season.

GoJane sent me this cute, light weight, open front blazer in size small. I am not a huge fan of the tan color, but if I was brave enough, I'd probably follow Megan Nelson's DIY and dye it myself. But unfortunately, it is a big too for me and I do not want to whip out the sewing machine. I will probably mess up a perfectly good blazer and plus, it's the beginning of the semester. Who knows what might happen. I might end up attacking my to-do pile that I've stacked up in the past year and a half and push my school work to the side. I am known to do that. Fortunately, I can save myself and pass it along to someone. I am going to share with one of you lucky readers!!

Over the Weekend

Since it's summer and all, should I call everyday a "weekend" since technically I don't have class nor do I have to go to work? If you said yes, everyday is a day off for me - week long weekends!

On Friday, a few of my girlfriends and I finally went to see Katy Perry live in concert. It was my very first concert! K claims it was THE.BEST.FIRST.CONCERT.EVER (for me) and I totally agree!! Next time I am going to dress up. I want that blue wig!

On Saturday, I went to Great America with family who's in town visiting. For some reason, I feel that theme parks are more fun hanging out with little kids. Maybe it is because I don't have any other reason to ride the kiddy rides, which I must say some are totally brutal with their turns. But hey, look at what I won!!!

I am officially done with summer school which means my summer has officially started...less than two weeks before the Fall semester begins. So please don't mind me if you don't see me around for the next few days. I am going to soak up as much of this break that I have left! Maybe I will get a tan, who knows!

A Hello and a Departure

So where was I the past three months? I was out and about and in and out of the blogging world. I still read updates from time-to-time. Okay, every night from the little screen on my Blackberry while curled up in bed. I hope you can forgive me. You see, I took my mini three month break to recollect myself after a very abrupt big loss in my life. After finals, I went on a mini-vacation to San Diego to spend a few days with a close friend and came back to reconnect with my family. I am almost all better now. Thank you ladies for your emails. I missed you too! But no need to worry, Justine is back!

As for the departure...I am leaving for Los Angeles as you/I speak/type/read. I can't wait to soak up some sunshine. I will be back Wednesday.
