If you have an iPhone, I think you'll love this.
I don't have an iPhone, but Bunz does.
iPhones are so handy!
Sometimes I wish I had one, but I prefer to stick with buttons.

The Breather
I hope you all had an awesome Easter weekend!
I stayed in my jammies all weekend.
Do you ever have those moments where you just need to stop whatever you're doing and just breathe?
I found my new 3 minute break.
It is really refreshing.
It's beautiful.
So if you are ever stressed - stop whatever you're doing and watch this:
You know what, make it W-I-D-E screen!

Favorite Things Friday
Happy Friday all!
This week I procrastinated a term page paper until Thursday night. (It was due today.) Why? Well, I was busy surfing the web for cute stuff. And in all honesty, I really didn't want to write the paper to begin with, but my good conscience made me stay up and write my little fingers off. My mother and grade school teachers have taught me well.
Here are a few beauties I came across in my procrastination time. See, I did get something done.
An elegant gold cuff bracelet for day and night.
Because everyone is making me want a maxi. I wonder if I will trip in them.
I love cute little print tops especially this tulip top!
I also think the way it is cut in the back is perfect for Spring and Summer.
I just love how simple and sweet this top looks.
A classmate was telling me about DSW huge clearance sale. She got BCBG flats for $12! I think I missed it because I didn't see any huge sale. Anyways, on my way out I like to walk down the aisle and I saw these. I tried them on, and oh my gosh, they were SO comfortable! I really wanted to snatch them up but I forgot to bring my coupon. Maybe I'll go back this weekend? Black? Brown? What are your thoughts?

A Close Call
H&M bracelet ($4), watch (gifted), Tiffany &Co. necklace (gifted)
I thought I'd do an outfit picture on my way to the doctor's office. (No, don't worry, I'm not sick -- just an annual check up.) Turns out the street is way busier than I thought. And you know what, it's a good thing I left after some truck tooted its horn. As soon as I packed my tripod up, the owner of the house drove into their driveway. Whew! Close call!

In Threes
Payless flats ($13), faux pearl necklace (hand-me-down)
Happy Monday to you all!
I didn't think I was going to blog today, but so much happened so I thought why not. Let me get to the exciting stuff: I woke up rather energized! Crazy I know, it's Monday for goodness sake! My day carried on as any other rainy Monday until we got hit with a campus wide black out. This meant the automatic toilets did not flush, nor did the sinks run, and of course, no lighting in the windowless bathrooms. I continue along with my day walking through the almost pitch black hallways. (I'm smart, I keep a flashlight on my keys.) Two minutes before my last class was dismissed, people were shuffling their papers getting ready to leave and we were hit with an earthquake. Nothing too bad -- 3.80. My professor scared me because he said, "What's next?" After class I decided to ditch work to get gas. (I am a paranoid freak if you haven't noticed.) There was a super long line out of the campus parking lot, but I manage to get to the gas station and home in one piece. Go me!
Today marks the 105th Anniversary of the 1906 Earth Quake in San Francisco. We were greeted with a shaky hello from Mother Nature.

Kara of Destined For Now
Well, this is going to be hard because I just told you some random stuff about myself the other week. I don't want you to think I'm like a super freak or something. But here it goes...
- I do not know how to make rice (with a rice cooker). It always turns out wrong. I think this is why I prefer to eat mash potatoes.
- I prefer to write with blue ink instead of black because I don't like my words blending in with the rest of the printed words.
- I hate the P of PB&J.
- I am a lover of Disney classics.
- I love Jeannie from I Dream of Jeannie.
- I hate the touch mouse pad on laptops which is why I don't own one.
- I set my desk clock 15 minutes fast so I'd do school work faster.

Click, Click
Forever 21 necklace ($8, buy) Payless flats ($13) earrings (gifted) watch (gifted)
The weather was nice today so I decided maybe I would stop by somewhere grassy on my way home. I got myself dressed and threw on this necklace that I've been hoarding for a while. You see, I am not very comfortable with changing my necklaces because I am scared of misplacing them and loosing the one I treasurer most. So I just wear the one I love 24/7. This totally goes against common sense - you wouldn't wear what you treasurer most...but it works out in my head.
I took the tripod out for a spin. I ended up toppling my camera over. Now I see the importance of having a remote. Click.

Chop-chop
I also like these shoes. I bought these thinking I can go "party" in them, but that's never going to happen for as long as I am a student. I might as well enjoy them now and break them in till that time comes.

Favorite Things Friday
I thought I'd participate in Favorite Things Friday since Bunz isn't there to hang out with me.
I have been loving Essie nail polish. They're a few bucks less than Sephora OPI's collection and I think they're just as good with a large range of colors. Here is the new Spring line of Essie that I am loving. My favorite is the light lavender color (Nice is Nice). Yes, it is nice.

I also came across this cute little purse at Elliott Lucca. You can wear it as a clutch, cross-body, or over the shoulder. And another great thing is that you this little purse can be worn dress up or down! It's the darn cutest little thing ever. It comes in 8 different colors. I think the gold white snake is my favorite. It's hard to make up my mind.

A New Sweater
Payless flats ($13) leather belt (hand-me-down), Tiffany & Co. necklace (gifted)
Ladies, check your button holes because they should not look like this:
Oh, have a bag of awesome from Trader Joe's for just $1.99! Tastes very similar if not exactly the same as Pirate Booty. Yum-yum...this is dinner btw. I'm kidding...maybe. I'm a junkie.

Happy Monday!
I thought I'd share a super sweet video my friend shared with me the other day. I think this video is a great way to start off the week (or not depending on who you are and what you're waiting for, that's if you're waiting for something in particular).

A Little Bit Awkward
Robert and I went out on a date (again), dinner at Elephant Bar (because both of us didn't want to cook and he doesn't approve of frozen food). I think this place should be taken off on our places to eat if we want some time to just catch up on our lives over dinner because
1. you cannot hear each other from across the table
2. 30+ minute wait for 2 people
3. okay food for crazy prices
But I have to give them props for the delicious fried calamari with some weird Asian dipping sauces. Yum.

This would be a good place to take a nap with a XL Pet Pillow! If I was like 5 and super sleepy.

Cropped
Hey, is your fridge running?
Ross flats LV purse (hand-me-down) Tiffany &Co. necklace
If your answer to the above question is yes, then you better go chase it. April fools! If you answered no, boy you're good. har-har-har...yeah I know I'm not that funny. Don't dare to tell me a joke if your intentions are to trick me or make me laugh because nine times out of ten, I will spoil the joke for you.
This morning on the radio, a radio host tricked a poor man. He told him that the legislator banned men from wearing shorts because of indecent exposure. He totally believed it! I thought that was pretty funny but Bunz didn't. I don't know where his sense of humor went.

I really didn't know what to wear today but then I thought about the predicted weather for next week - rain. Obviously, I need to pull out my umbrella tank-top. Hopefully there will be no rain, and if there is, I will be prepared.
I bought this jacket two summers ago. I thought it was pretty old-lady like but I bought it anyways because it was so cheap. I've worn it about a handful of times. (I'm getting my money's worth!) I don't really know how to pair cropped jackets. I don't know if it suits me (my style) or my body type. If I turn around and look at my reflection, I feel extra choppy.

The giveaway is not a joke, it is real, see. I am not kidding. I'm serious.

13 Deals.com Review & GIVEAWAY -- CLOSED
A couple of weeks ago, I was approached by 13Deals.com. I looked around their website and they have absolutely some of the most coolest things ever. Some stuff I have never seen in my life and it seems so practical to have, such as this toliet flash light, or this glow-in the dark flash light, or this hand-held blender. I think I may have seen some of their products on infomercials (Yes, I watch those super long commercials) but I never buy them because I'm afraid of getting scowled at their for their "impracticality" as well as "wasting" money when I could be saving up for school. Good thing 13Deals is like 75% off the infomercials!
Have you ever heard of XL Pet Pillows? It's a big square pillow with an animal head poking out. It can even curl up and stand on it's 4-legs (that's if you choose an animal with 4 legs). They come in a selected variety so XL Pet Pillows can be for both boys and girls! They have unicorns for the imaginative girlies, a butterfly and lady bug for the cutesy girls, a moose for the outdoor boys, a dinosaur for the ___________, and a lamb for simple people like me.
I choose the XL Lamb pillow to review. This is going to be my new pillow when I travel (if Skippy decides that he doesn't want to use this as a sofa pillow). I hate using hotel pillows because I can never find the comfy spot, and without a comfy spot, I stay up all night. This pet pillow is cute and soft enough to sleep on without feeling the mattress beneath your pillow.
If you like, comment on this post (up to 9 times, 1 comment = 1 entry) for your chance of your own pet pillow! YAY!
