Rain-Rain

It's not raining. At least not anymore. I don't want it to rain. Rain puts such a damper on the day, especially when I have school. I don't mind the rain as much on the weekends because that just gives me an excuse to stay in doors and cuddle with he boyfriend.

I belted my top because it was a little big on me even though it is a size small. The trend for oversized tank-tops, they really do mean oversized. It dips a little too low for my liking in the front. But there's nothing a belt can't fix these days.

I swear, this was not meant to be a boob shot. I wanted to show you the little details of the polka dotted umbrellas. They're so cute! And yes, there is a little zipper on the left side. Rubbing

The other night, I was rubbing a small stain off my tank top with some Bath & Body Works Japanese Cherry Blossom soap (because I was lazy to get some real soap without the anti-bacterial beads, which by the way are not good for us). Little did I know, because I put the stain on top my left pointing finger and I rubbed the material together, I would end up with a clean stainless tank top at the cost of an ugly blister on my pointing finger.

There you have it people, the band-aid is hiding a blister.
Note to self, next time I am going to use Bunz tooth brush.
I kid you not.

Costume Super Center Review

I know, I am more than eight months too early for Halloween, but I couldn't pass up such a great opportunity. I chose the Sexy Dorothy Adult Costume. (Don't worry, it's not that sexy on me since I don't have long legs like the models do here.) Maybe Bunz can be Tin-Man.

The costume did not come with the poofy petticoat, or the long white socks, the cute red shoes, or the red ribbons for my hair. Good thing those are easy to find. In person, the material is pretty fair for a costume. The quality is actually pretty good for a Halloween costumes. I'm sure it will be able to survive a few wears. The steams and the stitching are also sewn together fairly well. The detachable sleeves are a cute idea. I think the costume works well without them, but with them, the way the model wears its (above), it does makes it more "sexy" and sleazy(ha! I don't think Buz will approve of that.). I got the costume in a size small. The costume is a big snug around my mid-section, but I don't think I my little belly is that big. If I were to order again, I think I might bump up my size to a medium.

Why did my font change? I don't know.

Things We Waste Money On

The other day I came across this article "10 Things You Waste Money On Every Day" and then a few hours later this article "6 Little Things That Costs a Lot."  As curious as I am, I clicked it. The title made was interesting to not click. After reading skimming through the two articles I started thinking about all the stuff that Bunz and I waste my money on.

 

Here is a list of stuff off the top of my head:

• Coffee (I don't drink coffee, but Bunz has bags of coffee at home and still buys by the cup. But I have to give him credit for cutting back and only spending the money in this "change" jars.)
• Parking Meters ($2/hr!!!)
• unnecessary food (ie mall food, yummy looking snacks at Trader Joes, demo food from Trader Joes/Costco)
• Target $1 section
• "required" textbooks that I never open, but feel guilty for not buying
• stuff that's on "sale" and too good of a deal to pass up

The skies are clear and the sun is out..sounds like a beautiful day. But as soon as you step out the house with a pair of flats, you'll turn back in to slip on a pair of socks and booties. I wish I did that because I didn't. BIG mistake. My little piggies were freezing! And looking at them now, I still didn't learn my lesson. See my pink toe-ies?

Weekend Adventure

Yesterday, Buns and I woke up at 7:30am to attend a 8:30am CPR class. We didn't get there until almost 9am because his iPhone directed us to the WRONG place. It brought us into a gated neighborhood. It was just so weird. I whipped out my cell phone and guided  us to the right way. We got to class and took our seats. Good thing we didn't miss anything. The class lasted until 5:30pm. It was such a long, long, long day. Call us me insane! Why did we take the class? One day out the blue, I decided I wanted to get certified and thankfully Buns agreed to go with me. We are officially certified for CPR! I hope we don't need to put my new skills to use.
