Chop-chop

Forever 21 Floral Tank, Banana Republic Cardigan (buy), Forever 21 jeans
Corso Como heels (similar), Tiffany &Co. necklace (gifted)

I really like my new sweater. It's really warm and cozy. It's as cozy as those ruggy sweatshirts you throw on and makes you feel good, but this makes you look pull together too.

I also like these shoes. I bought these thinking I can go "party" in them, but that's never going to happen for as long as I am a student. I might as well enjoy them now and break them in till that time comes.

Yesterday my Grandfather drop off some coconuts to me because my cousin has been fanning over them ever since she came back from Hawaii. I didn't know how to open it so I called my cousin. A hammer wouldn't have worked, but a chainsaw, probably - too bad I'm scared of them ever since I saw that movie, Texas Chainsaw Massacre (I'd link you to it, but I'm too chicken for it to show up on my screen.) She told me brings hers to a back yard with a knife. I decided to stay in the kitchen. I opened a small hole with a knife to punch a hole small enough for me to stick a straw inside. After I drank all the warm juices, I used another knife to chop it open. It look like this, but add 3 more inches in the width of the blade. It took me a very long time, you see, it's like chopping down a tree, but not since it's a round wooden thing in front of you.  I actually chipped part of the knife away when I decided that the blade was deep enough for me to just yank the coco nut apart. Whooops! It was a yummy coconut though.

  2. I love everything about this outfit, especially the floral top! The colors are so bright and cheerful-perfect for spring! I would have never thought to pair a striped grey sweater with a brightly colored floral print top, but it actually looks so nice together on you! :) I love coconuts, especially at this time of the year! I never had a real coconut at my house before, only at restaurants. Have you ever tried coconut water? It's so delicious and super healthy for you!

  4. Yum! Coconut! Love that sweater - cute and comfy.

Your grade school/kangaroo story is too adorable. I can picture Baby Justine doing that, lol. I've added a couple more pics if you want to head back to view. And for fear of sounding like a schoolmarm here ... it's actually a wallaby (basically a smaller kangaroo).
