I've been getting home pretty late so I haven't be able to get a chance to document my outfits. It's such a bummer too because I've been trying out new combinations. Don't worry, I will be an outfit repeater! In the mean time, I need to avoid my neighbor*.

Love Is...Banana Bread Muffins

I made these the other day for Bunny.


He loved them! And I suggested we take a picture together. For some odd reason, sometimes my camera takes blurry pictures even though it is sitting on a sturdy table, or maybe I just move so much my camera can't handle me. I pick the later.

Love is when Bunny:

1. wakes up in the middle of the night to go bathroom with you because you're too scared to go alone.
2. drags you out of bed to make you study.
3. makes sure there is always orange juice in the fridge before he leaves for school.
4. puts on braces a second time so you wouldn't have to be alone.
5. 1 & 2 & 3 are the correct answers
6. all of the above.

Here is the recipe. It makes 24 cupcakes perfectly!

Ingredients
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup butter
3/4 cup brown sugar
2 eggs, beaten
2 1/4 cups of mashed overripe bananas or 5 large bananas

Directions
1. mix the all-purpose flour, baking soda, salt in one large bowl
2. mix sugar and melted butter in small bowl
3. stir in eggs, sugar, and butter into the large bowl
4. pre-heat oven to 350 degrees F (175 C)
5. use a large spoon to pour batter into the cupcake liners

Bake for 20-25 minutes at 350 degrees F (175 C)

Answer:  5. 1 & 2 & 3 are the correct answers

Bunny actually decided after I put on my braces that he wanted to restraighten his teeth.

I started blogging on Blogger in April, but I only recently started to consistently update. From then and until now, the only person whom I shared this blog with other than you, my dear readers is Bunny. I don't know why, but I do not feel comfortable telling the rest of my family. I mentione Blogger and blogging on a new website to my cousin T a few times, and showed her some of Disney's amazing creations. But other than that, I never mentioned to her what I blogged about. or even why I blog. Today we were chatting on Google chat and out of the blue she asked me to link her to my blog. I really hesitated and I told her I was not ready to share. I feel bad for not sharing. Saying "No" is very hard when it comes to family. I just am not ready. I am not living two lives or anything like that, I just don't feel comfortable sharing this part of it just yet. This part of me if like a semi-hidden secret. Did anyone else have this delimma? How do you break out of it? I would love to hear what you have to say.

The last outfit I wore here, I think, in fact I am pretty sure I woke up inspired by amazingly wonderful Kendi without realizing it until a few days later.

Today I broke the rules. I mixed brown and black in one outfit. That's right, I am a straight up rebel. I even added some gold.

This is what I wore to school on Saturday. Yes, I go to school almost every Saturday at 8am. It actually is not as bad as it sounds. Sure I would love to stay home, sleep in, and hang out with Bunny when he's back, but it's school first, life later. (I kid, but it really does feel like sometimes school takes over my life. I haven't had a girls night out in what feels like years, has only been maybe 2.5 months.) School is a just a temporary stage of my life. So it's okay.

The Crinkles

I'm not so ready... I took these pictures at school. I was planning ahead. I knew that I would be staying late to study with my study group. This was the first time I had a study group. It actually consisted with 8 people - WAY too many if you asked for my opinion. So two of us broke off from the group. We apologized and left. I felt really, really bad, but I knew I had to do this if I did not want to waste precious time before my exam. I know my study habits - sit in a chair and work through each question. I am not the type of girl who can sit outdoors on the bench or on the grass although I wish I could be. My eyes like to wonder around toward bright shinny objects and by then I would completely loose focus. I feel bad, but at the same time, I feel like I did the right thing, and the other 6 group members would understand. At least I hope they do.

I don't know about you, but do you ever get those crinkles in your skirt or shorts after you sit? I've noticed that my shorts and skirts likes to crinkle near the crotch and then ride up. How do you prevent this from happening? The only solution I can think of it starching this specific area until I won't be able to even sit.

First off, I am so glad tomorrow will finally be Friday! Bunny is coming home! I originally wanted to wear this with just a plain black v-neck, but I decided, heck, since I am going to wear magenta color shorts, might as well spice things up a bit. These are really bright bottoms for me. I actually bought them two summers ago while visiting my cousin in Davis. Do you think they're too bright?

CSN Stores

Have you been reading about CSN prodcut reviews and/or CSN gift certificate giveaways?! Well I am finally going to join the crowd! This is definitely exciting! I have almost no idea what to choose after spending three hours on their website.

First I thought I could use a new bed set since Bunny and I like to change our bedding every 1-2 years - Okay, you caught me, I like to change our bedding. I love new bedding because it makes the room so much prettier.

But then I thought I could use some new bed pillows because a girl can never have enough pretty pillows...

After that I thought maybe I could use a new dresser since my clothes are begining to stack up in our closet...

I swear, you can stay at home and just click away and your home will be furinished in no time. I sure hope I can come up with something I really want before the end of the day. Random Facts & Weekend

No outfit picture today. I'm at home studying tonight. I hope everyone else is enjoying the last few hours of the weekend.

On Saturday, my cousin finally came back and we went downtown to do a little a lot of much needed shopping. Yay! We took a totaly of seven buses. I am exhausted just thinking about it. I can't believe we took seven buses in one day, within eight hours. We are amazing. =P

We picked a good weekend to head downtown be caues Old Navy was having a HUGE sale, take an additional 50% off all clearance! I LOVE to rummage through their clearance sections, I get such a huge adrenaline rush. (Do you get them too, or am I just crazy?) The two of us picked up 6 cardigans total (similar to this), 2 sets of bracelets (needed them as fillers), 1 cami, and 1 roll of wrapping paper ($0.19).  Good thing I printed out the $10 off $50 coupon. In the end, each cardigan was less than $7 each! I was blown away!

Everything else I bought on Saturday is for this up coming Christimas for my little cousins. I love to look through the baby clothes. Everything is so cute when they're small.


I thought I'd tell you guys a few random facts about myself. And when I say random, I mean random.
(Can you tell that I don't want to study?...I hope Robert doesn't see this part.)

1. I am terrified of ants, but I'd kill that spider for you.
2. When I was younger my older cousins taught me how to find salamanders in my mom's back yard and then taught me how to chop their tails off with a hand held shovel. (Yes, I know - EVIL. I told you little kids are not as nice as they seem.) 
3. I love to eat salt and vinegar chips with a glass of whole milk. 

Illusion

Trust me, my arms are not this tan, I repeat, my arms are not this tan. I do wish I could have an even tan, but I am not willing to risk my chances with skin cancer. And you may suggest spray tan...I am too lazy to use spray tan. I guess my chances of a nice tan are gone. I think that's okay. What am I going to do with a perfect tan anyways. .

Last night I was contemplating on what to wear. I think this top from Nordstrom Rack is my go-to "cute" piece. I opted to wear a vest over it because I as tired of wearing it with just some sort of cardigan. And also because I haven't worn this vest in forever.

Orange

A month of browns, oranges, and yellows. I really love Autumn, but the really sad part is that I never experienced a Fall season. In fact, I don't think I ever experienced a season here at home for a full term. Here, all the seasons are jumbled up.

Back to colors. When I was in preschool, my favorite color was orange - yup, orange. You know those super adorable preschoolers? Well, those super-adorable-kiddies are not the sweetest things ever. I was made fun of because I liked a "non-girl color." The only reason I can think of now why I liked the color orange was because of orange flavor candy. I love the taste. I don't know why - I just do. Today, 20 years later, am still a sucker for orange colored/flavored candy. So hand over those orange gummy bears, skittles, and m&ms!

WIWW #15 & Caught!

I saw a good Samaritan today. This little elderly lady was having trouble pushing her grocery cart to the side walk and this other younger (50's or so) man ran across the street to assist her. I am totally assuming that they do not know each other, but if they are friends, he should have been pushing in the first place! I'm just saying...and if you were wondering why I was not the one who helped her, it's because I was in my car waiting for her to finish crossing the street. But if I was a local pedestrian, I would have helped her. I love grandmas and grandpas!
If you've been reading my blog for the past three weeks or so, I mentioned here that I was afraid of getting caught taking pictures of myself in public. So today was no different from any other afternoon when Bunny isn't home. I was dragging out a stool + box around my block trying to snap a picture of myself in front of someone's house. The painter across the street was watching me the entire time from the balcony! I had no idea until I finished...

Well, my neighbor neighbor's plant is growing onto their side of the house...

Sunshine Monday

Good Afternoon! And if you're reading this after sundown, Good Evening!

First day of school for the week! I usually never wear loud walking boots to class, but today I decided that I would. The girl I sat next to gave me the up and down look as I was walking into the aisle. It was awkward. I don't think I ever get that look. I think it must have been the boots that gave me away.

Well, the sun decided to pop in for awhile. If you just looked out the window, one would have thought it was nice and warm. But you would have been fooled the moment you step outside. Although it is sunny, there is more than just a light breeze, it's chilly, chilly outside. 

Today's outfit was inspired by SWEATshirt DRESSshirt.

Weekend Outfit

I am going to try to post my outfits more than once a week. Bear with me here.

After class on Friday, I was pooped. I swear that midterm sucked the life out of me. I changed into my pjs and just soaked up the television until Bunny was on his way home!

I changed and we went out to dinner for his birthday at his favorite restaurant in Japantown. Of course he drove, but dinner and dessert was on me! I also got him to try come coffee crunch cake. He loved it! Maybe next year I will buy him a whole cake, but I highly doubt he'll eat it since he's so much more healthier than me.

So this is what I wore this weekend, Friday and Saturday. Those wrappers I am holding - have some of the best "free" chocolate I ever had. It's from the Nordstrom Cafe. And because Bunny loves me so much, he lets me devour them all myself.

(Note to self, stand with my legs closed. I think I look like a leprechaun.)

When a Puppy Misses You

When Bunny comes home from school, Skippy sleeps on his backpack. I doubt it is more comfortable than his soft fluffy bed, but he sleeps on it for as long as Bunny is at home. I've put my backpack (same as Bunny's but in a different color) on the floor thinking he likes to sleep on backpacks, but he doesn't even walk across mine. I have come to the conclusion that he does this only because he misses Bunny as much as I do when he is away at school.
