Embrace your Flawz

Remember when I mentioned about how self conscious having braces a second time made me feel? Well, I am going to embrace them. Flawz makes us different and unique. We are all different. And I hope you embrace your differences as well because they can only make you a stronger and a more confident person. If we do this, one blogger at a time, one adult at a time, one child at a time, young children who will one day become adults will never feel bullied when someone makes a judgment of who they are because they accept and embrace their differences.

Sorry this giveaway took me awhile, I was on vacation with my parents and my kid brother. We went down to Disneyland and then took a 2-day stop in Solvang, CA. Solvang is a cute little Danish town. They have a lot of delicious food! If you're in the area, it is definitely worth a stop, even if it's just a hour or two.

WIWW #8

When I hit 25 followers, I am going to do my very first giveaway!

Before I started following Lindsey with What I Wore Wednesdays, I told myself, I would not take any pictures of myself during my second round of braces. I was acting like a 5-year-old whos parents wouldn't give her candy. I guess I was a little self cautious, okay - a lot self cautious. The more I keep up (I try to) with What I Wore Wednesdays, I am letting myself go little by little. I beginning to think it really is O-K to smile and show my braces. I mean who cares. It's okay to have a little judgment, that's how the world works. A besides, I won't be a metal mouth for the rest of my life. And Bunny doesn't want to take a picture of my outfit unless I smile. I just wanted to thank all my lovely commentors for all your lovely comments. I must say, these comments really do make a difference in my life. You're putting a smile on my face. You're helping me be less self cautious, thank you.

Recently, it seems like the the only time I am out of my pjs is on Friday and Saturdays. I don't feel the need to change since I am currently not in school and Bunny is off to work, meetings, and class. I just stay in bed most of the day and watch tv - what a life!


Friday, August 6th
It is FREEZING here! I bet once school starts again the sun will be shinny brightly over San Francisco. This is my trying-to-smile-ice-wind face while taking Skippy out for a pee-pee. Yeah, it's bad. But I really liked my outfit. Needless to say, I ran back into the house after this with Skippy right behind me.

Friday, July 30th
This was a very, very sad day. I attended one of my dear friend's funeral in the evening. I found out last Monday about his passing. Please be very cautious when driving.

I didn't belt this because Bunny said I was going belt crazy. I really like to belt my outfits. I am in the phase where everything outfit better with a belt over it.

I am breaking into my new shoes. I definitely haven't tried driving in them. (I also cannot drive in boots such as Uggs.)I am scared I won't be able to feel the break and the gas so I bring a pair of flats with me in the car. But no one has to know about our little secret.

This is what I wore in the afternoon and again on Saturday and Sunday.
