Mother Bird Necklace

Today I got off early since my English class was canceled so I got to go to work early. Yay! After work I went to Stonestown. There are so many stores closed! Okay, a couple, Aeropostale and Zumines. I wonder what is going to replace them. I didn't buy anything. I don't think I am a huge fan of Summer clothes since I can hardly wear any of it here in San Francisco. Sucks. Btw, today's weather was wacky! It rains, then it stops and it becomes all sunshinny, then it gets super dark and pours and then stops and gets all sunny again. Then it is super sunny and rain comes down at the same time. Blah! But that isn't anything new.

What is new is that when I got home my new necklace was in my mail box! It is a Mother Bird hand made necklace. I got it for $0 since I won Joy's Etsy raffle! She makes some pretty nice stuff, but who am I to judge. Go check it out. She's having a sale right now since Mother's Day is right around the corner. She is such a giving and thoughtful person! You can personalize too! How great is that?

Old project: Domo

I've actually been posting up super long blogs on my Xanga. I am slowly making a transition.

In the mean time, I haven't done any crafts recently because I've been super loaded with homework, but I want to post something. This is a Japanese character called Domo. I made an imitation one for my fiance before he left again for college. Domo is a boy, but I wanted to make him a set. They're made out of color felt sheets that I picked up from Beverly's and I stuffed it pillow fluff. So here they are:

Happy Sunday,

Welcome

I've been contemplating whether I should join Blogspot since I already have a Xanga account. I guess I am not very comfortable with change. I am a hesisitant about changes when things are competent. After much thought, I realized that I need to make a transition. I can already tell from reading other people's blogs that Blogspot is much more advanced compare to Xanga. I hope it is not too advance for me to use. I am not a high tech person. I am excited to begin my new journey on Blogger!

Have a wonderful day,
Justine
