The other day Elaine was talking about wearing sneakers. I used to wear these in the rain because well, flats just will not cut it in the rain - neither does Converse. They're made of canvas. So now I wear boots. But then my converse hardly get worn.
I didn't know how to dress them. This is what I wore. I stripped down to the basics, the bare minimum.
Top: Old Navy
Jeans: Pacsun
Converse:
Necklace: Tiffany & Co. Initial J
WEIRD. Hello, twin? I literally just stepped back from my closet and took out my Converse because I feel like I've been neglecting them for too long. This is most odd ...

I think the simplicity of your outfit works well with Converse, though it's hard to tell since they're not in the photo. I used to hoard those shoes and wear it with everything! =)
ReplyDeleteDefinitely one of my weekend stand-by outfits--sans the converse. I've seen a lot of celebs wearing them and looking extremely cool doing it, but I feel like when I wear them I look like a high schooler.

Seriously, I just can't style sneakers either! Simplicity is always best.

I just move the part with the knot to the underside of my wrist. It's not super fancy, but it works. Oh, and if you are making the double bracelet, you just wrap it around your wrist twice, in case you though I knotted it.
ReplyDeleteI've had some success styling my converse with skirts -- it can be cute!
ReplyDeleteBut simplicity always works too. You can't go wrong with the black v-neck!
